| | | Land of Fire
The Land of Fire (火の国, Hi no Kuni) is one of the largest and most powerful countries in the series, and the home of the main cast. Its government leader is the Fire Daimyo. The Land of Fire was the first country to adopt a ninja village, Konohagakure, a custom other countries would soon adopt. The Land of Fire is appropriately oriented towards the element of fire, typically having very bright and warm weather. While not the largest country, it has the largest hidden village.
Konohagakure No Sato
Konohagakure (木ノ葉隠れの里, Konohagakure no Sato; Literally meaning "Village Hidden Among Tree Leaves"; also known as "Village Hidden in the Leaves" or "Hidden Leaf Village"), or Konoha for short, is one of the five great ninja villages, and said to be the mightiest of the five. As such, it is one of five villages with a Kage as its leader, known as the Hokage. On a mountain overlooking the villages from the north exists the Hokage Monument. The village resides in the Land of Fire. Although Konoha, much like the country in which it resides, has been peaceful for the past sixteen years, and has grown accustomed to that peace, it remains one of the most powerful villages in existence, and has great military power and influence.
Valley of the End
The Valley of the End (終末の谷, Shūmatsu no Tani; English TV "Final Valley") is on the border of the Land of Fire and the Land of Sound. It was somehow created following the foundation of Konoha, when Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha fought for control of the village. The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox was present for part of the battle under Madara's control. Hashirama was victorious, and Madara was believed to have died. In memory of their battle, two giant statues were built on opposite sides of the waterfall, Madara on the left (the Land of Sound side) and Hashirama on the right (the Land of Fire's side).
Tanzaku Gai
Tanzaku Quarters (短冊街, Tanzaku-gai; Literally meaning "Poem Card Quarters") resides in the Land of Fire and is a fair distance from Konoha. It is a lively town that attracts many adults because of its gambling opportunities and fine women. Much of the Search for Tsunade arc takes place in or around Tanzaku Quarters at the same time that a festival is going on. The Tanzaku Castle (短冊城, Tanzaku-jō) was a popular tourist attraction, but it is destroyed by Orochimaru during the arc.
The Forest
This forest is where most training for Shinobi is held and it is also the vast forest that surrounds Konoha for miles on end. Moderator: Mearii Shiotsu
| 0 | 0 | | | | | The Hitogoroshi Hideout is a well-sized, abandoned shack. Being used by Mearii and Kagura to have secret meetings with their recruits when needing no one else to hear it. It is insulated enough so that outsiders only hear a muffle of noise, not being able to understand what they say. Under the 7th Tatami mat to the right of the Entrance, in the very corner by a small, dusty table, a trap door lays hidden. Under it leads a small room with a stairwell leading down to a tunnel. Each tunnel has many rooms, meant for personal use by each user (Some are empty for future recruits) and at the end of the hall, there is a last, large room with a long table meant for all of the members to conference.
